Arya-Michelle, working under the artistic label Electric Blue Lady, is a self-taught multi-disciplinary artist.
Her practice, while ever-evolving, currently includes sculpture, painting, digital art, music production, short stories, essays, and poetry.
Native to and currently based in the city of Atlanta, Arya-Michelle gained her experience and inspiration while traveling the United States and abroad. Her work currently seeks to explore surrealist landscapes, myth, folklore, and science-fiction.
As an emerging artist, Arya-Michelle is expanding her craft and has had her work selected for exhibition in local galleries, research facilities, and literary journals.
Most recently, her piece 'Universal Consciousness' was selected for the Outta The Box exhibit hosted by Arts Alpharetta. The exhibit runs from November 19th 2025 through January 10th 2026.
In October 2025, her piece 'Mind's Light' was acquired for permanent collection by the CABI (Center for Advanced Brain Imaging) facility at the GSU/Georgia Tech campus.
In February 2025, her short story 'The Locket' was selected for inclusion in an anthology of 21 speculative fiction stories, published by independent literary journal Midnight & Indigo. It is currently available for purchase in both print and ebook versions.
Previously, Arya-Michelle worked within the realms of media and entertainment.
Since 2023, her graphic design and video editing skills have been included in the weekly video recaps for Rapstation's And You Don't Stop! radio show, hosted by Public Enemy founder Chuck D.
Her diverse experiences also include working as a promotional model for international beauty company Baka Beautiful in 2011, as well as for Patron in 2021. As a child, she was found helping (and acting) on the sets of independent films, auditioning for commercial work, and was even featured in Vickie Winan’s music video, ‘Happy And You Know It” in 2008.
